Sip O’ The Mornin’ To Ya

Sip O’ The Mornin’ To Ya

When I looked up the correctness of this title, I shouldn’t have been surprised to learn that it has no Irish origin at all. “Top o’ the mornin’ to ya” essentially means “The best part of the morning to you” and comes from somewhere 19th century England. I feel like another suckered American for incorporating the Irish stereotype in my title, but oh well. Anything goes this St. Patricks day, including argyle socks, green leprechaun juice, balloon shamrocks, and hail in March.

Sip Coffee was on my to-do list to support the social cafe new to Cricket West. The Barista made Penelope’s day with a chocolate chip cookie bigger than her head. My girls could’t keep it together between their chocolate milk and cookie crumbs so we bolted out into the hail before taking any pictures. I can’t wait to sip-in next time and enjoy the cozy fresh environment with a friend.
