Peppermint Candy Land

There’s no place I’d rather be than fireside with my girlfriends and a spiked Christmas Mocha. Just look at this beautiful peppermint candy-land scene!  Stefanie Metzner outdid herself with this mocha bar presentation, hosting a fabulous evening of love, laughter and reflection!

I’ve learned a lot about friendship the past 2 years… mostly because I have been a bad one.  Not that anyone would accuse me of this, but I know in my heart that after kids, I’m not the friend I used to be. Luckily, this phase of my life has taught me how adult friendships really work, and that is that they take work! Working on understanding. Working on forgiveness. Working on time, and working on memories. This is what makes adult relationships so special, because we learn how quality really does trump quantity.  There is no work I’d rather do!

Thank you Stef for an amazing night toasting to friendship and for rocking my world with that Rum Chata. Your home felt like a cozy winter retreat that I didn’t want to leave. Tis the season!
