About 3 months ago, my mom and I were shopping at Crate&Barrel and she fell in love with a painting by Sarah Giannobile called Forms of Light Print. Of course the one being sold through Crate&Barrel was just a print, but at $500 it was still a little out of her budget. For her Christmas president I decided to try and recreate the abstract piece myself and I’m pretty stoked how it turned out. I used my go-to Liquitex Basics acrylic paint from Michaels and even had a little help from my small assistant ;). I’m finally finished and standing back with a creamy mocha, feeling proud and inspired to make an original work of my own. Stay tuned.

She is going to love it! I love it and now I’m feeling inspired.
